Nationwide campaign for Nakuusa and UNICEF

NAKUUSA aimed to create a campaign centered on the theme of community. The campaign highlighted Greenland’s diversity and how we can prevent children from being excluded. We are all different and each of us has something to contribute. Therefore, NAKUUSA launched a campaign encouraging respectful behavior. The focus was on videos with life-like scenes and powerful messages that would resonate strongly.

Malou Media’s primary role was to ensure accurate communication and to produce all content from start to finish.

Campaign videos

On June 1, the campaign launched with extensive exposure and the release of the first video, "Friendships Across Boundaries." The main message emphasized that friends can connect across grades, ages, and towns.

The subsequent videos aimed to foster empathy and understanding for those who are excluded or bullied. Are you a good friend?

Project results

How can community and friendships be strengthened in Greenland?

For several years, the campaign has focused on the cartoon character “AjunngiLars.” It has been featured on KNR-TV and in cinemas, with the message also spread on social media via Instagram and YouTube. Facebook users have followed the campaign on www.facebook.com/AjunngiLars.

Nearly 5,000 Facebook users have clicked “Like” to keep up with the page’s updates. Additionally, eight animated videos were shown on www.imaani.gl, targeting young audiences. Of these eight videos, two short ones included competitions.
