Mindhelper Is Coming to Greenland – Mindhelper.gl
The Challenge
Mindhelper.dk wanted to expand its site to the Greenlandic population and make a difference for the young people in the country, just as they do so effectively in Denmark. However, the Greenlandic population needs to be approached in a slightly different way, and this is where they sought a helping hand. Not only does the site need to function in the Greenlandic language, Kalaallisut, but their videos and voiceovers also need to be adapted. This marked the beginning of a larger project with us.
The Proposed Solution
In this project, several overarching tasks were involved. They handled the website redesign themselves, with guidance from us on language, color combinations, and so on. We produced all the new educational materials that needed to be in Greenlandic, including production, voiceovers, audio, and animations. With our expertise in branding and knowledge of the Greenlandic population, we managed the majority of the work and helped get mindhelper.gl off to a strong start.
1. Website Structure
At the same time, we helped create and record all the voiceovers for the Greenlandic site. They were inspired by the content on the Danish site. We developed the scripts, set up the recordings (studio), and handled the voice recording. Video and audio editing was performed to best capture the viewers’ attention.

2. Speaks
At the same time, we helped create and record all the voiceovers for the Greenlandic site. They were inspired by the content on the Danish site. We developed the scripts, set up the recordings (studio), and handled the voice recording. Video and audio editing was performed to best capture the viewers’ attention.
3. Animated Sequences and Printed Materials
Using animations and printed materials, strategically placed on social media and physical locations for young people, we were able to drive traffic to the platform. These provided an engaging and welcoming introduction, giving young people facing challenges a safe space to learn and find relief.

Project Outcome
With increasing activity on the platform and a well-executed completion of our Greenlandic adaptation, we see this as a huge success. It has been truly exciting to help young people in such an important area as mental health. We’ve all been through it, and this platform genuinely makes things better. The Greenlandic population has warmly welcomed the “new” platform.
